Lovely Lisbon

Lisbon is my favourite city in Portugal. It is one of the oldest cities in the world and it has everything you’ll need in a city. Lisbon has many things to do and to see and I will tell you about my personal favourites.

The things you must see in Lisbon are the two bridges connecting Lisbon
to the south side of the river Tagus. Especially the Vasco da Gama bridge is incredible with his length of 17 kilometers. From this side of the Tagus you have an incredible view over the city.

Another must see and must ride is the trams, especially tram 28. These electric trams are a traditional form of public transport in Lisbon. They are cheap, fun and they’ll take you everywhere around the city.

Don’t forget to stop at Praça do Comércio. This is a beautiful big square, situated near the Tagus river and the harbor. From here you have a beautiful view over the river, the city and the passing trams. Enjoy a drink at one of the many terraces and see all the beauty of Lisbon at the same time.

If you love a great view go to the Saint George Castle. Here you’re able to learn and see a lot of things about the history of Lisbon. And even better, you’re able to climb to the top and have an amazing view of the whole city and beyond!

The last thing which I think you should not forget is the Eduardo VII Park. This is a 26 hectare park in the centre of the city. On the top of this park you’ll have another amazing view of this park, the city and the Tagus .

Of course, there is many more to see and to do in this fantastic city, but the things above are definitely one of the best and will give you a great experience when visiting Lisbon!
